For nearly a year, we have been following the difficult journey of Little Meredith. Hundreds of us have joined her on what has been a very challenging road not just for her but for her loving family as well. It has been a dark road filled with bumps, obstacles and hurdles that is difficult to define in words. Her family and her friends have been the light that has guided her. The love that she has is far stronger than the disease that has attacked her. We have shared tears and laughter with her, and yet many of us have never even met. But because of our love for Meredith and our friendship to her, we are all connected in a special way and will be forever connected because of Meredith.
Meredith has done so much for so many of us. She has made many of us rethink our life’s purpose. She has put so much in perspective for the thousands she inspired. And so, after much talk and thought over the past few months we have decided to give back to Meredith. The cancer that attacked her body has only strengthened her spirit and she is stronger than any person that I have ever met. I am honored and humbled to call her my daughter and friend.
I often say, “It is how we face obstacles that define us”.
So friends, the time has come for us to. On behalf of my daughter, Meredith, you are invited to “Reach for the Stars” with Meredith. We are making it easy for everyone to be apart. Now let’s get ready to REACH the only way we know how, and let’s do it for our friend- Meredith. Be Brave and “Reach For The Stars” with Meredith until a cure is found is found!
We look forward to your donation. All proceeds raised will go to Meredith’s medical fund.
