Shine the light on them... first.

If you are able to do so in a helpful and relevant way, the chances of them following increases

There is a reason people follow.  They perceive you have something valuable to offer. (or fun, or interesting, or newsworthy)

Several LinkedIn groups have had postings encouraging people to like Facebook pages and to follow one another's tweets.  If what they tweet about is relevant and interesting to you, it's worth following them, as they most often follow back.  But don't do salesy tweets all the time; you need to build a relationship with people.  People buy from those they like and trust.

You know Janet that is a true statement in my opinion. Love and respect is a two way street. I really appreciate the good people on twetter and the staff. I have learned that they are so helpful. If they don't know the answer, I have discovered that someone on twetter alwa;ys comes up with a sollution.  Thank you Janet

I believe reputation is very important. Its hard to restore your name when someone or some situtaion tarshes our name in one way or another. We are all children of our heavenly father and he loves us no matter how good or bad we are. All of the people on twetter love and respect others very much and I think you will enjoy the ride.

joining groups or forums that are geared towards getting more twitter followers is the easiest.

try retweeting specific peoples tweets.

go to twitterfeed and set up an automatic feed for your twitter account based on key words. when good material appears people will follow.

Thank you Darren. You are so right. What would we do if we didn't love one another and respect others opinion?  I believe you learn a lot from other people even when they don't realize it.
