This poor dog lives in Glouster, Ohio at 32 Republic Ave..This Black Lab has a very small dog box, no food, no water and very little shade. She broke her chain and I was able to give her food. This container was full and she ate it in just 2 minutes along with her water. The Dog Warden, paid by the Athens County Commissioner has been notified of its condition several times. His response was..."This breed looks like this normally."............What do the residence of Glouster think?

Permalink Reply by Fiddler on September 5, 2012 at 2:44pm This sort of thing happens everywhere. Last year I adopted a 21 pound adult beagle, and if you know beagles, most are over-weight. I'm happy to report that Frankie now weighs 30 pounds and really looks great. His story was sad. His owners lost their jobs and home and were virtually homeless. When it came to feeding Frankie and his sister, these people had to choose between the dogs and the children. The dogs lost. Frankies sister starved to death, but these people gave up their living dog to the Humane Society.

I have 2 German shepards that I love so much, and I know that they are intelligent and understand so much more than people realize.
